Robot installation and business tools

Context

As Balyo scaled its autonomous robot business, the sales and operations teams needed purpose-built tools to replace manual processes and spreadsheets.

Approach

As part of the engineering team, I contributed to developing a suite of internal tools aligned with the company’s new business strategy:

• A quotation calculation interface using georeferenced factory maps and robot trajectory estimation to generate accurate cost proposals
• A remote supervision platform for monitoring robot fleets via the web
• A micro-services architecture on AWS for robot data management
• A statistics and analytics solution built with Python and pandas for KPI generation
• An interactive map editor (OpenLayers, Leaflet) for warehouse layout definition
